Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist, specializing in Gynecology
Dr. Veltkamp is devoted to women’s wellbeing, and her gynecologic interests are wide-ranging. Among her unlimited practice interests, she enjoys preventive women’s care, adolescent gynecology, contraceptive counseling and care, pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, pelvic surgery, and exploring how one’s emotional and social wellbeing connect to pelvic health.
Dr. Veltkamp completed her undergraduate education at The College of William and Mary. After a few years of traveling and skiing (destined to move to Vermont!), she attended medical school at The University of Florida, and then completed her Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center. While in residency, she volunteered with the Vermont Haiti Relief Team, which was a formative experience, and she was honored with a top research award. After leaving Vermont, she obtained additional depth and breadth of experience through her work at the Alaska Native Medical Center and at an Ob/Gyn practice in Plattsburgh, New York. She has returned to Vermont with great enthusiasm and is thrilled to partner with like-minded practitioners at VTGyn.
Dr. Veltkamp is board certified in Ob/Gyn. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and is certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).
While out of the office, Dr. Veltkamp loves playing with her two children and husband across Vermont, on the beaches of Florida, in the mountains of Alaska, and anywhere in between. She enjoys running, skiing, and sitting by the lake.
