
AMCB Board Certified Women’s Health Practitioner
Rebecca is a Board Certified Women’s Health Practitioner and NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner who has been offering compassionate and collaborative care to women of all ages and backgrounds for nearly two decades. Her areas of expertise include preventive health care, menopause, young adult health, contraception management, and preconception counseling. She is passionate about empowering all women to achieve their optimal health.
She speaks Spanish and has experience serving diverse and underserved populations, including work in Latin America. A 200-hour yoga teaching certification has provided special insight into the role that mindfulness and meditation can have on stress reduction and wellness.
Rebecca received her BA from the University of Vermont with a focus in Women’s and Gender Studies and completed her MSN and nurse-midwifery education at the Yale School of Nursing in Connecticut. From 2005 to 2011 she served as an Assistant Professor in the Nursing Department at UVM and currently teaches courses on women’s health as an adjunct. She is an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American College of Nurse-Midwives, and the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).
In her free time she loves to run, read and cross-country ski with her dogs, as well as spend time with her close friends, family and two teenaged daughters.
