Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist, specializing in Gynecology
Dr. Conolly is passionate about women’s health and has particular interests and expertise in menopause, hormone replacement therapy, sexual health, sexual pain disorders and minimally invasive surgery. Her scope of practice encompasses routine annual exams and management of all manner of gynecologic problems. Dr. Conolly sincerely values the connections with her patients and is committed to providing exceptional and personalized care.
Dr. Conolly earned her undergraduate degree at Colorado College, during which time she also spent time studying in New Zealand. She attended George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and then completed her Ob/Gyn residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Conolly also practiced as an Ob/Gyn in Kenya for a while during residency. Her travels were enriching, and she was so happy to return to the Northeast, where her roots are, and now calls Vermont home. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UVM College of Medicine where she serves teaching medical students and residents.
Dr. Conolly is board certified in Ob/Gyn. She has earned awards and accolades for humanism in medicine, teaching, and excellence in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner – the first and now one of only a few such practitioners in northern Vermont. She has memberships in NAMS, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), and Physicians for a National Health Program. She has thrice participated in the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) semiannual course.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Conolly’s interests include hiking, sailing, skiing, biking of any kind, and spending time with friends, family, her husband and toddler. You may see her biking on the bike path on her way into the office!
