Medical Assistant

As both a recovery coach in the Emergency Department and a research associate studying opioid use disorder treatment, Laura brings valuable perspective to her role at Vermont Gynecology. After completing a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at UVM, Laura transitioned to her position as Medical Assistant to gain more hands-on patient care experience. Passionate about reproductive health and patient advocacy, she values working with a team dedicated to compassionate, gender-affirming care. Outside work, Laura enjoys riding her bike, tending to her garden, and experimenting with new flavors in the kitchen. She lives in Winooski with her partner and their two cats, Max and Stella.
